How to Wake Up to a Meaningful Life

On-line dictionaries define “woke” as being “alert to injustice or racism.” It really means politically correct/progressive which is a cover for Marxism-Socialism (e.g. the three founders of Black Lives Matter are avowed Marxists).

Woke Cancel Culture wants to rid America of its Christian heritage and principles–and is doing a pretty good job of it today.

I will never be “woke” because I love Jesus Christ, His purpose for America and nations, and my belief in Truth–the biblical worldview. And many years ago, I really woke up to a fabulously meaningful life.

Zooming Back to the Book of Acts?

I’ve been in some inspiring Zoom meetings recently–which appears to be the new norm. (If you haven’t experienced Zoom, it’s a software program that allows a few people or thousands to “meet on-line” in real time.) 

Last week one gathering involved 300 mission leaders. Another four-hour session brought sixty youth ministry heads together. Then pastors and Christian leaders hooked up in my hometown. 

Finally, we celebrated the National Day of Prayer on May 7 via Internet streaming which united millions of followers of Christ in virtual worship and prayer.

Is it time to re-set the Church by “zooming” back to the Book of Acts?

The Complete Gospel on One Special Day

We humans have a penchant for imbalance–in many areas of our lives.

We put on weight, we lose it. We discipline our kids “by the book” as young parents and spoil rotten our grandchildren. We huff and puff about the importance of telling the truth, then succumb to crafting  little white lies.

We do the same thing with the Good News of Jesus Christ. On one hand we know that God hates sin–and we should also. But other times we lavish grace and forget about right and wrong.

On February 23, 2019 God gave the United States a lesson in the balance and wholeness of the Good News.
