This week a majority Americans said Thanksgiving 2020 was the most stressful holiday of their lives. And Christmas is coming.
Now, more than ever. you need to be enlarging your cultural trinity.
What is the cultural trinity and how do I grow it in my life?
Split Decision (Maybe) in the Fight for America
During Israel’s ancient history, the nation turned away from God to follow other paths. During one decline, Elijah admonished the people to “stop wavering between two opinions (1 Kings 18:21). “If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal follow him.”
Baal represented a heathen tyrant who encouraged sexual debauchery. The living God stood for truth, goodness, and beauty.
In Elijah’s day, Israel could not make up her mind. God’s ways or Baal’s? The people had to choose.
Same in 21st century America. Election 2020 appears a split decision between secular progressives and traditional people of faith.
Maybe.

The New American Axis of Evil
It’s Halloween week and I have a scary reality to share.
In 2002, President George H.W. Bush described Iran, Iraq and North Korea as an axis of evil who pose a “grave and present danger.” He was right, and Iran and North Korea remain on the list. China should be added.
We now face a new axis of evil in America who also pose a “grave and present danger.”
Who are they? And what can we do about it?
