This week bookends the birthday of a man with a great cause, Martin Luther King, Jr. and his fight for civil rights, and the Right to Life March that peaceably protests on the largest and ongoing holocaust of all time–abortion.
Monday, January 17, we celebrated the MLK holiday and Friday, January 21, the annual March for Life is scheduled in Washington, D. C. Martin Luther King believed in both “rights” found in the Declaration of Independence–the right to life and the right of liberty.
It’s time to reject a whopper of a lie.
For hundreds of years, the devil, Satan, Lucifer–the unseen force for evil in our world–hid behind a cartoon character with a pitchfork in the Judeo-Christian West. “Ha ha ha. A devil you say? That’s a figment of your imagination.”
Other parts of the world take the devil and his demons seriously. Devilish activity is a part of their daily lives and evil is very real to them.
Now the West is catching up (or regressing?). The Devil used to hide himself here–for good reasons. Not anymore in the United States.
Here’s why Satan has taken off his mask.
Twenty-nine million people listened to the first 2020 presidential debate last night.
Donald Trump interrupted his opponent too often. Joe Biden looked canned and plastic. And Chris Wallace appeared lost and bewildered, and sometimes acted like a third contestant on Mr. Biden’s side.
My thoughts on last night and, more importantly, the bigger picture behind the scenes.
