The Only Thing Progressive About Progressivism is Tyranny

For five decades I have watched liberalism morph into progressivism–and that’s not a good thing.

Being “progressive” sounds forward thinking and cool. However, the unfolding Covid-19 pandemic with its lock downs and numerous governor/mayor edicts has exposed this dangerous philosophy as anything but positive or in favor of progress.

We now see plainly that the only thing progressive about progressivism is tyranny.

Racial Triumph in America

Two items dominate the calendar this week in the U.S.

First, the celebration of the civil rights prophet, Dr. Martin Luther King, with a national holiday that bears his name. And second, the partisan impeachment of Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States.

I will deal with impeachment next week when the circus dies down a little. Today I’d like to share some thoughts on race in America.

The Other World War III

I was born too late to experience the horrors and deprivations of the first two World Wars (1914-18 and 1941-45).

But I’ve read enough history to realize that any talk about World War III must be serious–especially with nuclear weapons.

Since the recent killing of Qassem Soleimani, the terrorist head of the Iran’s elite Quds Force, some commentators have stated that Donald Trump brought us to the brink of World War III.

That would be ugly.

But I know of another World War III that could be far more devastating than atomic bombs…
