I Saw Socialism at Twenty-One. It Was Ugly. Still Is.
I’ve embarked on an 18-24-month project that will help with some future books.
It involves putting my personal journal on computer. I started writing on October 30, 1972 and continue to this day–over forty-six years of journaling.
I’ve already transcribed the hand-written pages from October 1972 to March of 1975. They’ve been enlightening. One subject I glimpsed with my own eyes in 1974 is in the news these days.
Socialism.
I saw it at age 21–in four nations. It was ugly. Still is.
The Green New Disaster
We spent the last two days digging out from under a record snowfall in the Seattle area. Every muscle in my arms ache.
In all of my 65 years, I’ve never seen two feet of snow descend at sea level in Washington State–and stay on the ground for three weeks (that’s the forecast).
In 1949, 13.1 inches fell at SeaTac airport during the month of February. We’re at 14.1 now–and 24 inches across the water where we live.
This is NOT global warming or climate change. It’s global cooling as confirmed by many “honest” experts.
Now we get the Green New Deal. Are these people idiots, crazy, or just incredibly deceived?
I’m not buying the Green New Disaster.

What is in store for our families and the world in the year of our Lord 2019? What personal assignments does God have for you this year?
As usual, in this first blog of 2019, I will attempt to give you a 30,000 foot view of some of today’s issues and what they mean.
Here’s my view of the world in 2019.
