We were lied to on many levels during the Covid Pandemic.
The suppression of truth, included the most likely origin of the virus (the Wuhan Lab), the foolishness of shutting down businesses, the false promises of vaccines, the six-foot “social distancing” quirk, and most debilitating–being forced to wear masks.
We now “know the science.” And pity the people still fearfully wearing masks in public.
“Eve of Destruction” was a popular Barry McGuire protest ballad back in the 1960s (written by P.F. Sloan in 1965). It spoke of a world coming apart by the forces of evil during the peak of the Vietnam War.
McGuire eventually met Jesus as his Lord and Savior and changed his tune from being a harbinger of death to a prophet of life. He has done concerts for our Youth With A Mission constituency on a number of occasions.
Destruction is usually the end result of deception that we now face on a massive scale in the 21st century.
Are we currently experiencing an Eve of Deception?
I was deeply impacted by contrasting events that took place this week in our nation’s capital.
In the ornate Senate chamber on the Capitol Grounds, one hundred U.S. senators (and a half empty chamber) listened to a litany of lies about impeaching a U.S. president.
At the same time, on Friday afternoon, possibly 225,000 regular folks–mostly young people–gathered on the Washington Mall to march for the truth about abortion.
Lies on the Hill and truth in the streets.
Who are you going to believe?
