The Permanent Victory of the Cross and Resurrection
Easter time is one of the most memorable weeks of year for me, from sun-rise services, to Easter 1974 in the Holy Land, to cross walks through my hometown for the past 33 years.
A ministry friend recently asked me if he could send my 2018 Easter blog to his list of 10,000 young pastors in America. I said I’d be honored–and decided to also share it again with you.
Easter is special, world-changing, cosmos altering.
It celebrates the permanent victory of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Forgiveness: The Greatest Mark of Knowing Jesus?
I took five hours Sunday, September 21, to watch live Charlie Kirk’s Memorial Service before 90,000 people in Glendale, Arizona. It was a moving experience–worth every minute.
It may be the greatest funeral ever witnessed in America because of technology which allowed us to “live” every moment of its grandeur.
The passing of other significant Americans (like Abraham Lincoln and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.) were viewed by larger larger processionals, but you didn’t hear all the words that video can capture and relay worldwide.

Let’s Fill the World With Kindness
This week Elon Musk did a “kind” act for free speech by buying Twitter. Vladimir Putin continues to do the opposite of kindness to the people of Ukraine.
The final two character qualities found in 2 Peter 1:7 are in many ways the best. They’re beautiful, tender attributes that round out the spectrum of Christlikeness.
The first is the beautiful and encouraging quality of kindness.
