The Meaning of Donald Trump–from a Biblical Perspective
As I readied this article for publication, the news hit that Rush Limbaugh died today at the age of seventy. His wife Katharine made the announcement at the beginning of his three-hour program which contains the largest radio audience in history.
I’m thankful for Rush Limbaugh’s thirty-two years of truth-telling about many aspects of American life. He was brilliant in his political analysis, courageous against the forces arrayed against him, and passionate in his love for America and its people.
His battle with lung cancer deepened his faith. In the past few months, he talked openly about his closeness to God and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. His millions of followers prayed for him and certainly benefited from that testimony.
Rush will be missed–but we must carry on the fight for truth. Here is my latest contribution.
How to Wake Up to a Meaningful Life
On-line dictionaries define “woke” as being “alert to injustice or racism.” It really means politically correct/progressive which is a cover for Marxism-Socialism (e.g. the three founders of Black Lives Matter are avowed Marxists).
Woke Cancel Culture wants to rid America of its Christian heritage and principles–and is doing a pretty good job of it today.
I will never be “woke” because I love Jesus Christ, His purpose for America and nations, and my belief in Truth–the biblical worldview. And many years ago, I really woke up to a fabulously meaningful life.
You can too.
Have We Entered the Days of Jeremiah?
We are four years behind schedule (due to Hillary Clinton’s loss in 2016), but the greatest nation in history now races away from its once firm foundation of “liberty and justice for all” and “In God We Trust.”
The destruction of our national culture is being vastly accelerated.
For forty years the prophet Jeremiah called his nation to return to God. They laughed and refused–and terminal judgment came.
Twenty-five hundred years later another “mystery of iniquity” is destroying America. In fact, the American people voted for these destructive forces to be unleashed (that’s the mystery).
Have we entered the days of Jeremiah?
