The expression “curiosity killed the cat”‘–became popular in the past 120 years to stop someone from asking unwanted questions.

Sometimes we get in trouble through unwise curiosity.

On the other hand, in our changing world it is critical that we unleash the power of curiosity to hear from God and find answers we need.

So, which is it? Curiosity killed the cat, or could wise curiosity save a nation?

Who Will Stop the Murder/Suicide of America?

I believe evil forces are trying to “kill” the faith, morality, freedom, and prosperity of America.

At the same time, millions of Americans willingly or unconsciously contribute to their own cultural suicide through ignorance, apathy, or blindly casting their votes for their oppressors.

Murder/suicide is a strong term. But I believe it fits. And someone needs to do something about it.

Some years ago, I took my car to be serviced at a local dealership. While waiting, I picked up a magazine that advertised an interview with George Verwer, the founder of Operation Mobilization. I had  visited one of their mercy ships (the MV Doulos) and had great respect for OM’s work.

The interviewer got right to the point: “Mr. Verwer, what is the greatest need in the world today?”

I paused. Good question. How would I answer it? Certainly, there were many needs in the world.

Verwer didn’t hesitate: “The greatest need in the world today is spiritual revival in the Church.”

I agree. And there’s one huge key to that awakening.
