The calendar has clicked over to 2019 and many of us are wondering and praying about the coming year.
What is in store for our families and the world in the year of our Lord 2019? What personal assignments does God have for you this year?
As usual, in this first blog of 2019, I will attempt to give you a 30,000 foot view of some of today’s issues and what they mean.
Here’s my view of the world in 2019.
United Evil and the Right to Kill
Is it just me, or is the presence and power of evil more rampant these days?
Shadowy forces (Deep State) work at a feverish pitch to try and take down a duly elected president (Donald Trump). China monitors the “social credits” of its people and clamps down harshly on people of faith. Migrants attempt to crash our southern border, financed by millions of dollars in leftist funding.
The list is endless due modern technology broadcasting 24/7 before our eyes–worldwide.
I know there’s always been evil in the world since the Fall. But, is it being unleashed in greater proportions in the 21st century, and who might be its largest human purveyor?
The Shock Factor of Heaven
Much ado is being made this week about Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin meeting face-to-face in Helsinki, Finland.
Despite the hysteria and clarifications, I’m more fascinated with another “face-to-face” that all of us will experience one day. That interview will contain no spin, deception, or need for understanding.
Quite the opposite.
Call it the shock factor of heaven.
