Organized Deception: An Honest Look at the “No Kings” March

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, millions of people marched in numerous U.S. towns and cities (and London) to protest the current administration. It was labeled the “No Kings” march referring to President Trump as an uncaring dictator (fascist, Hitleresque etc.) who is a “danger to democracy.”

The march was highly organized and extremely deceptive–especially its name and premise.

Here’s my honest take on the “No Kings” march.

Organized Deception: An Honest Look at the “No Kings” March

There was uneasiness in my spirit on October 18 during the “No Kings” march. I knew who was behind it, funded it, the false message it proclaimed, and the waste of money and time it entailed. Fortunately it’s impact was minimal because it was not a grassroots uprising.

It was a well organized protest of deception.

Let me back up my words.

I will write this piece in the older form of “argument” that’s been prevalent for hundreds of years. I will list my points numerically so that they are clear, build upon each other, share facts, and seek to engage your heart and mind.

1. Let’s begin with some positive points. I’m grateful we live in a nation where non-violent protest is not only allowed, but championed. Free speech is a treasure that few nations know firsthand or have ever experienced. China, for example, has never been free–for thousands of years. Praise God that biblically-based/Western nations value individual liberty and expression.

2. I’m grateful that the marches were mostly peaceful (with a few exceptions). I’m saddened that some marchers used the event to spray paint and graffiti some churches and one marcher dressed up in the same outfit that the assassin used to murder Charlie Kirk. Those expressions were evil  (defacing private property and imitating murder).

3. The “No Kings” march was organized and funded by some 270 non-profit organizations who got their money from billionaires like George Soros (Open Borders Society), the ACLU, and the Indivisible Fund. Up to three billion dollars was disbursed to these various left-wing (anti-God) groups over the last few years. They had plenty of money to advertise, obtain permits, order signs and literature, pay many marchers, and rent blow-up “furries” and other symbols of leftwing causes.

4. Many of the marchers were Baby-boomers or seniors--a geriatric crowd–trying to reincarnate their “hippie” Vietnam protest years. They left early when their paid hours were over. Others were young people who know little of what’s really happening in the world as evidenced by their signs–some misspelled–and incoherent interviews.

5. The majority worldview of the marchers was atheism–progressive, secular, Leftist, Marxist, socialist, communist etc.–(though some liberal believers also marched). These groups commonly share a disdain for God and faith-based culture. If you’ve wondered what “progressive” means, it is “moving beyond” and destroying Judeo-Christian faith and replacing it with the “progress” of atheistic tenets and governance.

6. Since destroying faith is the goal, then the true power behind the march was Satan and his demons. He is the true hater of God, truth, and human life (i.e. the Destroyer).

7. To describe Donald Trump as an authoritarian king is ludicrous (foolish, unreasonable, ridiculous). Through democratic means in the 2024 election, Trump won all the six swing states, the Electoral College, and the popular vote. He also allowed the march to happen. If he was a “king” he would have stopped or stormed it (remember the Chinese Communists at Tiananmen Square in 1989?).

Here’s the most succinct analysis by Thomas Hern:

Donald Trump won [in 2024], but to call it a No Kings protest, to act like he is a king, is so utterly preposterous. This is a man who won the popular vote. He won every swing state. He is a person who is enacting the exact agenda he promised he was going to enact while he was campaigning. And so what they are actually protesting is the absolute perfection of American democracy….So it’s actually a protest of democracy.

8. The real authoritarians (kings) in America are the Democratic Party, and the media/educational/celebrity elites who no longer believe in free speech or honest elections. They are the authoritarians (woke) who want to force their secular values on the American nation (e.g. via lawfare and cancel culture during the Biden years).

9. The “No Kings” march was really a cultural temper tantrum by those who lost the 2024 election. They don’t want a renewal of faith in America (The Gen Z and Baptism revivals are growing), but desire to re-direct the nation to their secular ends which include moral relativity, socialist economics, fears of global warming, and antisemitism.

10. The “No Kings” protests were dumb on their face. Trump is not a dictator. He’s a lawfully elected president. Those who resist him are the totalitarians. Were they marching against themselves? The London march was especially idiotic because the U.K. has a king (who is ceremonially not a problem to anyone). Did the marching Brits forget that fact or were they simply overcome by TDS–Trump Derangement Syndrome?

10. The growing hatred of the Jews and support for Hamas is another mark of atheist doctrine. The devil hates Israel (God’s chosen people) and Jesus Christ (and his Church) because they are the representatives of His Kingdom work on earth. The Jews’ role is primarily providential (most Jews are unbelievers), but the followers of Jesus are the greatest threat to world evil because they shine as light-bearers of the Great Commission.

11. The USA is the most biblically-based nation on earth (though greatly backslidden). “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” are demonic chants that are really directed at God who is using both nations for his sovereign purposes.

12. The marchers have one exception in their anti-God coalition–radical Muslims (hence the pro-Hamas rhetoric). It’s an uneasy alliance, but both religions (atheism and Islam) believe in force to achieve their goals while hating the God of the Bible.

13. The “No Kings” march was timed to draw attention away from Democrat government shutdown, save Chuck Schumer’s Senate seat, and revive progressive momentum in the culture war. America is engaged in a social tug-of-war. The Biden years pulled us left. The Trump election pulled us “right.” The march was meant to pull us back left before the New Year. 2026 promises a great renewal of faith, freedom, and economic growth as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday on July 4. “No Kings” tried to counteract the growing American renewal.

13. Those who marched want a secular, socialist, totalitarian civil sphere (government is their god). Believers in God share the cry of the early American colonists, “We have no king but Jesus!” If the demonic forces can kill godly culture in the United States of America, it paves the way for a one-world atheistic government described in the book of Revelation. Nation-states, and especially “Christian nations” are the main restraints on global tyranny. That’s why supporting open borders and condemning “Christian nationalism” are in vogue among God-deniers.

14. Millions of deceived people with a deceptive slogan are a “coming attraction” of the reign of Antichrist and his global rule. They will welcome his “social democracy,” worship him, and receive tyranny in return.

15. Antichrist’s reign will end quickly when the KING of KINGS–The Lord Jesus Christ–returns to bring justice and grace to planet Earth and establish His Eternal Kingdom of Light and Love.

We must continue to fight organized deception with the weapons of prayer, love, truth, revival, and culture transformation.

Don’t be deceived. Reject the lies. Live out your faith.

Here’s the truth about “No Kings:”

We have no king but Jesus!
