I Think I Know What a One World Government Looks Like
Like many followers of Jesus, I cherish the Book of Revelation which closes with God’s Kingdom reign coming to earth. Yet, the apocalyptic aspect of John’s prophecy remains difficult to understand so that, by and large, most of us don’t make it a focus of our daily lives.
Yet, Revelation foresees a time when an evil worldwide government forms on earth before Christ’s return (Revelation 13-19). I never thought much about this event until 1) I read the Left Behind series by Dr. Tim LaHaye (a personal friend of mine) and 2) Recently began to “see” a few things that caused me to wonder.
Now, I think I know what a one world government looks like.
The Devil’s Advantage & Christ’s Eternal Hope
The most horrific church massacre in U.S. history at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas reveals many things.
We sadly see the face of evil once again and the carnage that comes from it. We view the heroism of the Good Samaritans who shot and chased down the despicable murderer.
We hear the clamor for stricter gun laws and the response that no laws could have prevented this crime and that Texas-carry laws actually prevented more deaths.
But what are the larger lessons? I submit they include the devil’s momentary advantage and Christ’s eternal hope.
Secrets to Fighting the Good Fight
We live in an age of great agitation–including political polarization, turning away” from Judeo-Christian values in the Western World, tremors of global economic problems and even threats of nuclear war.

You could say it’s the “best of times and worst of times.” In light of these grave dangers and amazing possibilities, what can we do to find stability in our faith?
Here are some secrets to fighting the good fight.
