A Triple Level Conspiracy
I hope this don’t sound like a broken record (now that’s an old analogy), yet, so little of what we hear on the news, read in print, or glance at on our phones gives an accurate perspective on what is really happening in the world.
Conspiracy theories are not my thing, but I’ve begrudgingly come to believe we’re in dangerously conspiratorial era–much more so that at any time in my six-and-a-half decade lifetime.
In the United States, in 2018 AD, we face a grave triple level conspiracy.
How should we then live?
Deception and Possible Felonies in High Places
I really enjoyed the original Superman TV series when I was a kid. It starred George Reeves and contained “amazing” special effects that showed Superman jumping up into the sky like he was flying (primitive by today’s standards).
Once each episode, Superman would explain his purpose: “I’m here to promote truth, justice, and the American Way.”
When we first heard those words, nobody laughed and everyone agreed.
Not now.
Not only would that statement draw snickers in many quarters today, but it’s being destroyed by what used to be the preeminent “truth, justice and the American Way” department of the United States government.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Here’s my report on deception and possible felonies in high places and what we must do about it.
Grading Trump’s First Year: Fair and Balanced
As I recently argued, a wide array of political forces despise Donald Trump because he halted the triumph of secular-progressive values in the United States in the 2016 election.
On the eve of his first State of the Union address, here are my grades for the first year of the Trump presidency—fair and balanced.
I welcome your response.
